The garden is waking up

We managed to stay away yesterday evening, gripped by the last two episodes of "Unforgotten" which we'd recorded.

This morning we woke at just before 9 a.m. so had a leisurely cup of tea and eventually hit the ground floor at around 10.30 a.m. having put away a few more bits and pieces.

The bulbs are starting to peek through the soil and some of the hellebores are flowering, so I picked this one and brought it indoors for a photoshoot.  It's far too gloomy to photograph anything else.

Our friends are feeding us today which has saved a trip to the supermarket and should help to keep me awake, otherwise I could gladly put on my electric blanket and snuggle under the duvet for another long nap.

I think I've about 1200 pictures to go through for a massive cull and I still have to catch up with Blip.
