A leg to stand on

When last blipped my younger son was off his feet but now he's pretty agile on crutches and his broken femur is healing better than could be expected. No problem then to stand at the cooker.

He and his brother joined forces to make a Russian meal. Here's Gwyn cooking kasha with fennel and pumpkin to accompany his Caucasian lamb  stew while Huw made salmon piroshki and a baked cheesecake for before and after (see extras). A selection of home-made flavoured vodka was also available: rowan, sloe, basil and zubrovka (bison grass). Another great family repast!
