A visit to Loch Choire (a small lochan underneath the summit of Ben Vrackie always repays the effort but never more so than today- it was simply glorious in the snow as the cloudscape above it shifted constantly from light to dark and back again with an almost mystical moment when sun broke through dark clouds suddenly lightening the surrounding snow. Wonderful.

We also saw a red squirrel on way up and in this weekends other news my wrist is sufficiently recovered to do downward facing dog again.
