Durdle Door

Dorset holiday backblip- Day 3

We were very lucky with the weather today. It was meant to be dry in the morning and wet all afternoon so we hadn't expected to spend all day at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door but we just had a couple of showers (it was very windy though) and ended up there all day. Found a good spot on the beach at Lulworth with sand and stones, seaweed, creatures and waves for Cameron to play in and stayed there for a couple of hours before walking up over the hill to Durdle Door. The coastline is stunning and you get great views from the top. We also saw the coastguard helicopter very close up and almost at eye level so that was quite exciting (we don't think they were rescuing anyone).
Then back to Lulworth for ice-cream before going back to the campsite.
