Going with the Flow

A fine day.  Walked from Skaill (the Skaill on the Germiston Rod - clarification for ‘Geography Head of Northampton) up Roosty Hill / Mid Hill / Ward Hill / Gruf Hill and the Hill of Midland and then back to HQ - about 10 miles.  I was with Ziberoonie as CMC had gone to the eastern parish for a different walk.  We were lucky with visibility as we could clearly make out North Ronaldsay Lighthouse and even Fair Isle.  Facing south we could see Ben Loyal and, of course, Morven.

Back at HQ I prepared tea and had a dram* one and the same time; trying to invoke the spirit of Johnny Craddock.

As I arrived home this work boat was gliding past the window.
