Doncaster Rail Station

Not the prettiest of facades but this station has been well used by me and my family for over forty years. i went there thus afternoon so that my daughter could catch her train back to London after a lovely weekend. Doncaster of course has a huge reputation as a railway centre and still it is a premier stopping point for going north and south. If nothing else it is easy to get out of Doncaster!

Of course this also used to bring lots of employment matching its coal pits but neither give employment any more, except at the margins.
