Raymond Briggs

Spent the day in London to attend the Booktrust lifetime achievement award ceremony, which this year was awarded to Raymond Briggs. It was such a great event that I forgot to take my camera out until the very end when he had got his coat on and was ready to leave, so that's the only photo I have of the great man... I would not normally travel that far for just a day but  made an exception for this and it was also the chance to catch up with colleagues and friends.
