Having My Cake .....

.... and not eating it.

It's my birthday later in the week but , as Tess & I are going away for a couple of days to celebrate the day itself, we had a pre-birthday meal with the kids at a local pub.

We were so full up afterwards that we couldn't manage the birthday cake Kate had bought but Sophie insisted we light the candles so she could help me blow them out.

The day began with the above song and I'm now listening to their latest CD which Chris gave me for my birthday. Off to see them at Plymouth in May.
