Birthday cake

It was my Mum's 80th birthday today, and we had a lovely party this evening at the Bickley Manor Hotel. Dad had recovered sufficiently well to be there, which was great, as it would have been a much less happy occasion without him. My sister-in-law Fiona made this wonderful birthday cake, based on a photograph of all six of us boys wearing yellow jumpers, one of many sets of six matching items produced by Mum's prolific knitting sprees throughout our childhoods.
