I see the sea
The sea sees me....
Mr C and I went to visit his great aunt and uncle in Bexhill. We said we only wanted tea and a chat but they insisted on doing us lunch. In the autumn his aunt had a fall and was quite poorly. Due to her fall and severe arthritis she has fractures on her spine and has shrunk about 5 inches in the last couple of years. His uncle is also on medication for prostate cancer which has made him put on weight. A very slim man all his life he now looks a little as if he has had Botox or has put on the early stages of a fat suit (he's really not fat at all, just slightly bloated ). However, despite all their difficulties they are always a joy to see and spend the afternoon with.
We stayed a bit longer than I was expecting and Mr C kindly obliged by stopping 5 mins up the road for me to grab a blip. It was already twilight and the light was very poor (not sure it would have been any better earlier in the day). It was blooming cold too. So quick run on the pebbles, grab a blip and done.
