Lady Luck

Back over to the Big City today.

(Very) late lunch at Mimi's Bakehouse and then the Caps' game at 6.

I didn't win the 50:50. No surprises there. Caps lost 0:3 to Sheffield. No surprises there either. A gutsy performanace against a better team, mind you.

Some interesting discussions during the day:-
- Shakespeare and how studying it to death at school put me off forever;
- Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman - everyone should see it, but only once;
- the menopause (her's, not mine);
- the price of lettuce;
- the Mosque Kitchen - must go back soon.

When clearing out a cupboard in the morning I found some compilation CDs from 10 years ago, when weekends were spent driving Junior around the country to his ice hockey games. They're now in the car for nostalgia purposes. You've been warned.
