Life!

This little Rose had broken off from the others as they were being put in the vase and has been quite happy to open out. Just yesterday I noticed that it had started to grow!
I know it won't survive but I'm such a sucker with anything that shows the slightest sign of life! I want to nurture it, protect it and help it to survive and flourish. I'm not particularly good at it....but that is always my desire. My housemate has even got used to the fact that I will keep a plant until it is 110% dead!!!!
The question is...how do I help this one?!!!!!

We had the Burns boys and the Eyle-Smiths for lunch today which was very nice. :)
It had been cold and sleaty all day and I have just been so tired. I've just wanted to curl up in front of try fire and read....or sleep. Instead I sorted out my classes stitching!
