Carnethy Five

The plan was to go to the top of West Kip and photograph each competitor in the race [C5].  I slept in but thought I could still make it.  I hurried but, on approaching the hills in high winds and bullet-like hail, was glad of my tardiness - it would have been very unpleasant on W Kip and photography impossible.  I did go through the hills to The Howe and took a few photos but, as it was snowing heavily, didn't want to change lenses so got no close ups of the runners.  I had a chat with one of the marshalls who reckoned she had one of the best spots.  I'm sure she did!
