Saturday: Viva Las Vegas

Las Vegas is only a two and a half hour flight from Vancouver, so, as it's a long weekend in British Columbia, we decided that Vegas was something that had to be done.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect but, suffice to say, it's a real assault on the senses!  We're staying downtown, in one of the older casino hotels and it's quite an experience.

We explored the neighbourhood, played some Blackjack on one of the machines (I don't think we will be winning big here!) and, with our customary nose for these things, managed to find a local microbrewery.........
