After the storm

This morning l had a cup of coffee with fellow blipper V1K1 who lives nearby. It was lovely to meet up and chat. Thanks for your company V1K1 and good luck with the jam making this afternoon.

Last night and early this morning we have a stinker of a storm. By 10am the sun had come out and this afternoon when M and l headed over to Rabbit island it was 25°C. We had a lovely walk along the mostly deserted beach where l took this photo of a dead, standing tree surrounded by lots of driftwood. I assume the tree marked where the land had once been but the sea has washed all earth away. We stopped on the way back at Hoglunds glass studio. Such beautiful glass, we watched the artisan make a glass vase.
