Down in the Sand

After seven straight days in the various wetlands shooting birds, I decided to take a day off.  We spent some delightful hours sitting on the beach, listening to music and reading.  I did take my camera with me, but because I didn’t actually get up out of my chair, my photo ops were limited…. so no, I am not really down in the sand. This was just taken with a telephoto lens.  I am not a big fan of sand anyway. And it appears I didn’t take a day off from shooting birds either.
