Walking the Child

I took Prise for a short hike at lower Macleay this afternoon where I spotted this male figure (father?) walking a child with a leash. Several hikers appeared offended though I'm uncertain why. Clearly, this was an adventerous child who was quite busy exploring her environment. In my opinion, the leash only served as a means of restricting her exploration in order to keep her safe.
