... near Matfen, on a dull grey Northumberland day (yesterday) - no better today. A circular walk from the hall, along Jingling Gate, through East Matfen Medieval Village, Hope Lane, Standing Stone and down the first par 5 of the new 9 - 5 golf balls to the good :-)
