A plot with potential...

This old building, disused and derelict, stands on a large piece of land on the outskirts of Wooler, and does nothing to encourage passing tourists to come in to the town. A proposal has been put forward, by a group of local people, to develop a leisure/activity centre on the site, but as a first stage they need  to raise a huge amount of money just to fund a feasibility study for the project. Here's hoping they're successful...

Passed it on the first of today's two short walks. This one at a very slow pace, with MrM and Louie, and the second at a slightly faster pace, on my own. MrM walked up to Wooler Common, rather further than I can manage at the moment.

Treated ourselves to lunch at the local pub today - neither of us had the energy or inclination to cook a roast dinner or to tackle the ensuing pile of washing up!
