All About Honey

This morning I woke up in suburban New Jersey after flying into Newark last evening. A friend from work - Randy - who is based in Newark, came to pick me up from the hotel and treated me to a delicious monster breakfast at one of those fabulous American diners.

After breakfast we went to his home to pick up his gorgeous little dog, Honey. I met Randy last summer and we became friends on Facebook. After seeing my many blipfotos, he soon fell in love with my Dolly and wanted me to meet his little dog, Honey. From that point on today, it was all about Honey. I fell in love with her too!

Honey is well-loved. She even has a beautiful bed with her name on it! And a bed in the car with her own seatbelt, just like Dolly.

We enjoyed a walk around the nearby Grover Cleveland park (named after the man who was America's 22nd and 24th president and who was from this area). The weather was amazing - it got to 17C - warm enough for short sleeves. Even more amazing was that the weather forecast was saying a big snow storm was due to start in the night. Thankfully my flight back to London left this evening, before the storm hit. Randy sent me snow pictures the next day - it was hard to imagine such a quick change of weather!
