The Yellow Door

On my way to the Columbia Gorge Women's Action Network (CGWAN) meeting in Hood River, I passed this lovely restored home with a bright yellow door.

The extra is a photo of the monthly meeting. The group meets in an art gallery/wine tasting room. This is a newly formed group that coalesced in November after the Presidential election. It started with 200 people and has now swelled to more than 1,500 members in a few months!  

Last month the CGWAN sponsored a letter writing event. They provided post cards, stamps and a list of addresses of legislators for Oregon and Washington. It feels good to connect with other like-minded people to plan and take action on a variety of issues of concern.
