Looking Pretty in Purple and Pink

It was another cool start to the day. It did warm up. The wind didn't really pick up until later in the afternoon which was great for the photos.

We have two big huge blazes out of control on the Port Hills in Christchurch just now. They started late yesterday afternoon. Sadly one of the helicopters helping to put out the fires came down, killing the pilot this afternoon. Here is the full story.

This morning was cleaning the and clearing the house ready for the photos to be taken.. John still didn't shift much of his stuff and was told too when they arrived. He was not happy to do so saying stuff laying about looks better!

I am pleased I took this shot this morning of the Fuchsia because it is really blowing about in the wind.
