He had to go for surgery to insert titanium rods into his femur to secure it while it heals. The rest of the day was spent drowsily, but the op went well according to the surgeon. In the 'old days' he'd have been in traction for 6 weeks or more, and in bed all the time. In the 'new days' they're saying he has to start physio tomorrow. Wow.
