Down with love....

No, not really.

If you're fortunate enough to love and be loved in return, may I wish you a very happy St Valentine's Day.


But for those of us you who are alone and unloved (except by the dog/rabbit/budgie) then take some comfort from these words :


When you live alone you can do the following....

1) ....have Maltesers for breakfast. And champagne for tea.

2) .....watch M.A.S.H./ Miss Marple/Columbo whenever you want to, without having to surrender control of the remote.

3).....go to bed wearing nothing but a face pack and a pair of bedsocks.


So, stop feeling sorry for myself yourself, and run starkers through the kitchen, shouting "I'm feckin' fabulous" at the top of your voice. It'll cheer you up no end.


Just don't forget to keep the blinds down.....
