A pleasant surprise...

..having walked in Hagley Park in Christchurch on Sunday morning, passing the time till plane time, and enjoying warmth, blue sky and sunshine, I was inevitably reflecting on the many reports of hard, wet winter back home.   "This could be a terrible shock to the system", I thought. 

But lo and behold, it is really not too bad now!   I didn't even need a jacket to walk round Haystoun.
