Valentine's Day

On the spur of the moment we decided to treat ourselves to a special lunch. N phoned a favourite restaurant and we booked the last free table. We had an excellent meal. Not everybody was celebrating Valentine's Day, there were families and groups as well. We have never particularly marked this day, but I remember the anxious wait for the postman when I was a teenager. Oh the disappointment when there was nothing for me!
The blip is the centre part of one of my embroideries. It was worked from a kit that somebody donated to a charity shop. Obviously they were daunted by the very complicated chart but I really enjoyed the challenge, a few years ago now.
