Ice Kaching

A fascinating day in court watching the action. Incredibly slow going at times with a lot of faffing with files, boxes of paperwork (certainly not a paperless environment), incredibly intriguing with the interplay between defense and prosecution teams and incredibly squirming as a forensic officer was softened up, marinated and well and truly grilled.

Dinner in Northbridge, a hop,skip and ten minute walk . Packed with pubs, clubs and restaurants of all tastes and flavours we ended up the day eating Hawkers food (think satays, mee goreng, singapore noodles, duck and more) and this fantastic pudding.
Grass jelly, seaweed, lychees and red beans crowned with a mound of shaved ice and drizzled with red syrup. Very cold, teeth tingling sweet and surprisingly delicious and refreshing.
