Yellow is the colour...

"Yellow is the colour of my true love's hair...."  This is our 36th Valentine's Day together.  And, yes, yellow is the colour of my true love's hair so the daffodils are quite apposite.  We have been working so hard on our research contracts recently that we have hardly had time to lift our heads.  We spent the weekend putting the finishing touches to a complicated workshop for a big local authority; yesterday we ran it....it went really well.  Today started off with an 8:30am telephone interview with a local council official on the Isle of Bute.  Then we set off for the 160 mile round trip to Enniskillen to do in-depth interviews with service providers for vulnerable young people; really good interviews with such hard working and very dedicated people.  So, tonight, we needed to relax and reflect. We had a lovely Valentine's meal, just the two of us, with aperos (Kir Royale) and seafood starter followed by slow cooked lamb and veggies accompanied by a lovely Macon Village.  Amazing what you can enjoy on a no gluten, no dairy regime!
