flicker

The yellow-shafted flicker is pretty common around here together with the other woodpeckers. This one will feed on the ground sometimes and has a very characteristic undulating flight with a conspicuous white rump.
A sunny but cool day and we have a very few crocuses out, which I was going to blip until I saw the flicker! The crocuses will be there tomorrow!
