View from Noor Hill

Despite the poor morning the view from Noor Hill is well worth the effort. In the distance is the Aire Valley with Salts Mill chimney just visible on the far right.

Behind the view extends across the villages of Wilsden and Harden to the wind turbines on Ogden Moor.

Wendles56 suggested the walk and together with friend Helen can be seen here.

Unfortunately the route across the fields to get here was absolutely sodden and I almost got stuck in one particularly boggy area. We looped around from here back down to Lee Lane still with Aire Valley below us and decided to walk along the road as it was fairly quiet and safer underfoot.

Finished with tea and toasted tea cake and lots of chat at the garden centre.
