Christchurch burns

Looking from my local Supermarket car park towards the Port Hills.  A State of Emergency has now been declared, three days since the fires started. There has been no rain.  The wind is a hot one and keeps changing direction which is not helping. Several homes have been destroyed and 100s of people evacuated tonight as the fire has changed direction and threatens more homes.
