Ventured

down to the Port after my appointment in Tauranga today.   Some beautiful yachts and also some very big launches tied up at this Marina. Some of the launches had some set up with very big fishing rods, no doubt for game fishing. Extra is a shag sitting very close by to where I was walking but it only interested in what was in the water.    It was a lovely day and much better than had been forecast.
Thoughts are with all those in the Port Hills area of Christchurch affected by the worsening situation tonight with out of control fires being fanned by strong winds.
