Aftermath of a Stabbing

As I stepped out of the door of my hotel, the luxurious and celebrated Kings Cross Travelodge, I immediately hit a police cordon.

It seems that while I slept a man was stabbed outside this McDonalds.  I presume from the 4 suited forensics people on scene that his injuries are serious enough to merit a significant investigation - hopefully for attempted murder rather than murder.

This feels like the exact opposite of the expensive offices in The Shard where I spent yesterday afternoon.
