Royal Pump Room Harrogate: WidWed67
This is the Royal Pump Room in Harrogate.
The Royal Pump Room, now a museum, was built by Isaac Shutt in 1842 to provide shelter for the town’s affluent visitors as they took the famous waters. The annexe was added in 1913 to cater for the expanding visitor numbers, and now houses the permanent exhibition and the museum shop.
The bicycle leaning against the lamp post provides some foreground interest for this week's wide angle Wednesday challenge hosted by Hobbs.
