Congestion

Valentine's Day, actually any holiday, brings out the pop-up vendors on our main thoroughfare. This normally open covered walkway is turned into a non-stop shopping opportunity for all things Valentine's related. Of course, if you have already purchased flowers for your spouse (as had I), then this gauntlet of stalls becomes a major hinderance as you go about your everyday shopping. Weaving in and out of those admiring the goods only lasts a couple of days, then it is back to open sidewalks and cooling breezes (which the tarps [see the extra] used to create these stalls effectively blocks).
