A drizzly day on the Sound of Kerrera

A bit of a change in the weather today - when I left to go out this afternoon it had just begun to drizzle and after stopping to chat to an elderly neighbour for what turned out to be 40 minutes, the weather had deteriorated quite a bit. I drove down the coast road to the Kerrera ferry in time to see this yacht making its way into Oban.

In the background is the island of Kerrera with the ferry slipway and the new breakwater. A beautiful island to explore and such a short distance from the town.

My extra today is the ferry herself, 'Gylen Lady', tied up on the mainland side, with the same yacht sailing serenely by across the water.
