Waking up in the land of Hammer

Afterwards a short drive to Turmi village for having breakfast at Tourist hotel. 
Mickey will take us to the border of Kenya where we will visit the Dassanech people, after crossing the Omo river adjacent to Lake Turkana.
Dassanech tribe are amongst the poorest people around the Omo valley.
We will continue to Turmi again for an early lunch and there we will meet Kamo, a member of the Karo tribe.
We will drive 80 km of unpaved road through african savanna full of termite towers, elephant trees and acacia trees.
Kamo will offer us his yard to sleep, we will meet his mother and all the neighbors. We will walk to the Omo river, we will play with Karo children and suddenly we will hear gunshots. Their chief is dead. He was ill and he didn't make it.
-Was he old? i asked Kamo.
-Yes, he said.
-What was his age? i asked again
-I don't know.. but old enough.. 45... 46 years...
I stopped asking. In the summer i will be 46.
We will see a magnificent sunset and we will talk about anything.
We will sleep peacefully with the quite savanna getting into our dreams.
