Home, the boys sat in front on the fire

Wonderful.

Edinburgh:
A good day calling in to collect 2 damson trees and also a range of others plants including 2 magnolia... never ever thought we would grow this beautiful tree. Of course, we haven't yet. The nursery, named Conifox, is close to the airport and very much on the up and up, with a great cafe, we couldn't not go in. (I hate reading double negatives). John was in touch with them some weeks ago and the damson trees awaited us.

And afterwards into the centre to my favourite shop of all time Valvona and Crolla where we stocked up on Italian sausages, olives, tomatoes, ham, snacking food for this evening, Gorgonzola .... also candied orange and lemon. Unfortunalty they didn't have much in the way of bread left but two pain au raisin saved the hunger problem about 2.00. The drive home was perfect although the bright sunny start ended up as drizzle.

And our boys; the one fellow isn't too good, our lovely sitters have left a note, the other boy in the foreground is looking after his brother - in between a good washing session himself.
