Today's assignment from the book "Vision 365: Mastering the Everyday Practice of Seeing": photograph texture.

A quick shot this evening of the edging on the blanket that lines Elowyn's toy basket.

Tomorrow I might make a break for now from following the book rigidly and choose to shoot other subjects some days, falling back to the book if/when I lack spontaneity or direction.
