Snowpile

Here in Anchorage they stack snow from roads, parking lots, etc. in various areas. One location is near our house. Taken from our second story living room, you can see the Cat operator several stories higher than we are, pushing piles to various locations on the mountain they have created this year. He (or someone) works nearly around the clock...the clack clack clack as they back down the hill is a reassuring grey noise. One I frankly look forward to ending with summers arrival.
