Overpriced Flowers

I had an interesting conversation tonight at the local supermarket.  An older couple were discussing the fact that lots of flowers were half price today.  My reply was “No they are at a normal price today”, the look was quizzical, “Yesterday, I said, they were twice the price.”  That would be the Valentines effect for you.
