Deer, oh deer
After the success of my dragonfly blip two days ago I went up to Pitmedden this morning to have another go. Got quite a few shots but unfortunately when I looked at them on the computer they weren't anything very special.
These two (there's a third just out of shot) are nearly always in the same part of the forest - a boggy clearing. They are just far enough away that even at full stretch my camera can't get a very clear shot. This has been very cropped, hence the fuzziness. I think they're probably quite used to me passing by but fear that if I tried to get any closer they would run and that would be a shame. They also always manage to position themselves behind trees, reeds, bushes etc. i don't mind really, it's just lovely to see them.
Packing tonight for a trip to the West on Saturday. Don't know if there will be any internet access and so I may be absent for a week. Thanks to everyone for stars for my dragonfly on Tuesday.
