Essex Lion

I had some time off work this afternoon for the funeral of my Uncle George, he and my Aunt Bessy had been visiting from Auckland and sadly he passed away over here on their holiday. Bessy, my mum and Godmother used to work together more than 50 years ago and their lifelong friendship across the world is inspiring.


This cheeky poster was outside the pub in St Osyth where the wake was held and is a obviously a nod to the infamous Essex Lion spotted earlier this week! Overlook the tasteless loft reference! I didn't spot it until just now!
