Blipmeet; Col des Montets
Backblipped yesterday.
A lovely wander out with HilarysView & Hibou today. We had a quick change of plan when we realised we'd be too deep in the Berard Valley to see the sun - so instead we headed to the Col and made our way up past the treeline to the Rochers des Chéserys.
Lovely soft snow meant snowshoes weren't needed, and despite a fabulous track most of the way we only saw one other soul - who kindly took the picture of the three of us in extras.
Obviously a blipmeet involving H meant that we'd find some Bouquetins - the fly past from the Golden Eagle was also rather special. A leisurely picnic coffee was spent watching a group of 6 Bouquetins, including baby, make their way across this 100m cliff, always a privilege to see.
I couldn't resist the other picture in extras - grinning faces and deep snow, always a great combination.
