If it rains, it pours.
No improvement in Doyle's situation, unable to lift her head to eat and still keeps collapsing under the weight of herself. Took her back to the vet right away and she's been there all day on an intravenous thing for the potassium. They've checked her blood panel a couple of times but the potassium is still not reaching normal levels. It's all so horrible. We're due in to see the vet at 4:45 p.m. to discuss what next. Apparently it's a delicate balance, if potassium levels are increased too rapidly it could give her a heart attack or lung failure.
We've spent the day postponing our travel plans down to California for another week. This is all very surreal and scary. Poor little cat.
