Side by Side

CCN had just finished filling all of the water bowls when we heard these two Black Cockatoos chatting away in the trees overhead.  We thought they had headed west but then realised they had decided to float down onto the LARGE water bowl near our deck chairs.  What a sight.  These birds are just majestic and it's such a privilege to have them visit us like this.  

I have added an extra of one of the birds taking flight from the bowl.  It's not the clearest image, but it does give you a pretty good idea of their size. and their wing expanse.  I'm going to have to get some tips from my blip buddy Beckett on how to catch them in flight.  I'd even make some shortbread for you Tom!!
