I had a meeting at Castlefield this afternoon. I am getting the hang of shutter control on my little camera. Which means I am having to do a bit more thinking before I take a shot, which is probably no bad thing.

The area has been in the news this week, with the Castlefield Forum very upset about the granting of planning permission for a couple of big apartment blocks on the edge of the Canal basin and adjoining Chester Road. The development will certainly impact on the conservation area. I haven't seen the plans, so will reserve judgement for the time being.
