Man Cold Strikes Man!

The visitors have departed and as expected the house feels fairly empty. 
What was less expected is that I seem to have come down with a cold that leaves me very tired, lethargic, and alternatively hot and cold.  As is usual the cold seems really virulent, and much worse than the colds other people seem to get. The phrase "man cold" comes to mind.
There's not so much I can do  apart from waiting out the cold and remaining stoic but so far I've always survived my colds and I expect to be out and about again shortly.
