Black, the New Silver

A little bit of retail therapy.  Time to upgrade the disc player on the big screen system.  Slightly reluctant because although the old player was only a DVD one it was rock solid and discs that rattled in other drives just didn't in this one.  However, not being able to play blu-rays on the biggest TV was a bit incongruous.

Now... connection methods have moved on a bit since 2002 which is when the amp dates from.

As has flavour-of-the-year in colour of hi-fi systems.
