Bonfire!

We applied for a permit and today and tomorrow we can burn! So I collected up the fence panels broken in the recent storms, and lots of twigs and branches, and started a fire this morning. We had thick fog until midday and then it was sunny and 25 degrees all afternoon, goodness knows what all this crazy weather is about, but it was enjoyable out in the garden.
Then I chopped some logs, split some others (not by hand or axe, I have machines!) and sat watching the chickens have dust baths while I drank my cup of tea brought to me by Mr F!
